The team at Brandon Hospitality is proud to announce the successful completion and handover of a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and bar facility for the much-anticipated Volcano Steakhouse in Epping.
For a high-end steakhouse where precision, power, and quality are paramount, the kitchen isn't just a room—it's the engine of the entire operation. Our brief was to deliver a comprehensive, turnkey solution that would empower their culinary team to perform at the highest level. We managed the project from design consultation to final installation, ensuring every element was crafted for maximum efficiency, safety, and performance.
This was a comprehensive fit-out, transforming an empty space into a high-functioning heart of the restaurant. Our key deliverables included:
Specialist Dry Age Room: A highlight of this project was the design and installation of a custom dry age room. This required precise control over temperature and humidity, creating the perfect environment for Volcano Steakhouse to develop their signature intensely flavoured, tender steaks. It’s a specialist feature that sets them apart, and we were excited to deliver on such a critical component of their brand.
Durable Stainless Steel Benches & Fit-Out: The entire kitchen was fitted with custom, heavy-duty stainless steel benches, shelves, and sinks. Fabricated for a perfect fit, these elements provide a hygienic, durable, and easy-to-maintain workspace built to withstand the rigours of a demanding commercial kitchen.
High-Performance Canopies & Ventilation: In a steakhouse, smoke and heat management is non-negotiable. We installed a powerful, custom-fabricated canopy and exhaust system, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable working environment for the chefs, even during the busiest services.
Custom Commercial Bar: We constructed and fitted out a sleek, durable bar area designed for high-volume service. This space is now the perfect stage for their mixologists to craft signature cocktails, integrating seamlessly with the restaurant's front-of-house flow.
Dedicated Meat Preparation Room: To meet the highest standards of food safety and quality, we constructed a dedicated, temperature-controlled meat preparation room. This space allows for the hygienic and precise butchering and handling of their premium halal cuts, safeguarding the integrity of the product from delivery to the grill.
